Basic Information

A skills section is a critical area to outline the abilities you'vegained from previous experiences. Keep in mind to emphasise the specific skills that make you a strong fit for the position.

There are mainly two types of skills: Hard Skills and Soft Skills.

Hard Skills:

Hard skills, unlike soft skills, are teachable abilities that can be defined and assessed. Hard talents are simple to measure and takes considerable time and effort to acquire. Example: Java, C++, Photoshop, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), MS Excel, etc.

Soft Skills:

Soft skills are personality-driven and subjective abilities that, in most cases, must be mentioned as they increase your CV value.

Example: Communication, Team-Player, Team Management, Interpersonal skill, etc.
